This is the new Exeed VX SUV.
Exeed is a new premium brand under Chery. The brand currently sells the Exeed TX and Exeed TXL, and the Exeed LX will launch soon.
The one we have here today is the largest of the lot; the Exeed VX. It will be the flagship SUV of the brand, and as far as we know they are not planning any bigger cars.
... Size: 4970/1940/1795, 2900. It has seven seats. Power comes from a 1.6 turbo with 185 hp, mated to a 7-speed DCT. Base versions get FWD, high end versions 4WD.
It looks impressive, especially with those darkened lights and the giant grille. The interior gets the two-screens-under-one-roof treatment, which is very popular among Chinese carmakers at the moment.
The Exeed VX will launch in China in November. Price will start around 180.000 yuan ($25.230).
