Levdeo i3 and i5 launched on the Chinese car market.
Levdeo is an EV maker from China's Shandong province. They started business with so called low-speed electric vehicles (LSEVs), but the company has since moved on to real cars.
The latest such are the Levdeo i3 hatchback and the Levdeo i5 sedan.
The i3 comes in two variants: the base car with 27 hp and a 105 Nm, mated to a 11 kWh battery. Top speed is 80 km/h and range is 100 kilometers. The i3 Comfort has 34 hp and 115 Nm, mated to a 15 kWh battery. Top speed is 100 km/h and range is 160 kilometers.
Size: 3420/1500/1570, 2297.
Price, after subsidies, starts at 50.000 and ends at 54.000 yuan ($7,090-7,660).
The i5 sedan has 40 hp and 150 Nm, mated to a 25 kWh battery. Top speed is 100 km/h and range is 255 kilometers. There is only one version, priced at 76.000 yuan (10,780).
Size: 4055/1630/1510, 2400.
Both cars look nice enough for the segment, with a funky interior including a 10 inch touch screen, which is the same size as you get in a Volkswagen Teramont.
There are no plans for export at this moment.
