Authorities on Monday released the names of the victims killed in a shooting over the weekend at Greenwood Park Mall in Indiana.
There were five victims, including the three people killed by the gunman and two who were injured.
The youngest injured victim was a 12-year-old girl who suffered a minor wound. Greenwood Police Chief Jim Ison said she went home with her parents after the shooting and later told them about a "scratch" on her back. They called police and the girl was taken to a local hospital, but is expected to be "just fine," he said. A woman in her 20s was treated for a leg wound but was in stable condition, per a Monday statement.
The shooter opened fire in the food court Sunday just before the mall’s 6 p.m. closing time, police said.
The gunman was killed by Elisjsha Dicken, 22, of Seymour, Indiana. Dicken, a mall patron, was legally carrying a gun, according to authorities.
