Eighteen-year-old Anastasija Zolotic on Sunday became the first American woman to win Olympic gold in taekwondo, defeating Tatiana Minina of the Russian Olympic Committee in the 57kg event. Zolotic has been one of the USA's rising stars, winning golds at junior worlds and a silver in the Youth Olympics.
