I'm deeply saddened to hear of the passing of one of my biggest influences Chris Squire. Not because I knew him personally, but because of the profound impact he had on my life in other ways. By that I mainly mean my connection to Jim Mouradian who created this unique instrument pictured here. If it weren't for that green Mouradian CS-74, I never would have met Jim and his sons. As a teenage kid in high school, I saw this bass on Mtv and found out that it was made in my home town of Winchester MA. Jim gave me a part time job in his custom guitar shop. It was there that I met Nuno and Gary. It all led me down this path... Not only my musical journey but this journey called life. Thank you for what you did for the role of bass guitar in progressive rock music. You've inspired many rock bassists including me and my dear friend Jim Mouradian. RIP Chris Squire.
