RIP to a jazz great - violinist, composer and arranger Michael White. Carlos Nino had mentioned he was ill but I was hoping for him to recover - and I was just checking him out yesterday on one of his Fourth Way LPs. Damn. Everyone here should drop what they're doing and check White's oeuvre immediately. He's that amazing. Thanks to @josiahsteinbrick for the heads up.
