Well. That's all she wrote. I got to live my dream of playing pro hockey for 12 fucking years. Can you believe that? Man did it fly by. First and foremost I want to thank all the guys I ever played with. We had some fun times. From Wheeling, West Virginia, all the way to the National League and back to the Jungle (aka AHL). I got to play with some OK players along the way too. Sidney Crosby. Evgeni Malkin. Shane Doan. You may have heard of them. Not a big deal. I also want to thank every coach I ever had. More importantly to the coach who told me to just start fighting because my skills were dog shit. Obviously the reason I got to play in the NHL. Also, I would like to thank all the trainers and staff I've ever had. They don't get enough credit. To hockey fans everywhere. I've had an awesome time engaging with you throughout the years. Even when you ripped me on Twitter then I'd make fun of you back. I can't do that anymore because I'm a backup radio announcer now. A glorified bagel boy. Last but not least my friends, family, and girlfriend. Lots of ups and downs through a 12 year hockey career. Couldn't have gotten through them without you. Well anyway. That's all I got.
