NCL was formed by some of the same people who started the squadron. The reason for this is because we felt that the direction the squadron had taken was not for us and has changed from what originally it was.
We aim for a much more English style of support with no Capo where anyone can start a chant about anything they want and everyone is welcome to join in.

What is our aim?
Our aim is to give the jets players the support they once had and deserve again.
We all have great memories of active support in the past and we feel it was the best when it was the style of support that we are trying to return it to.
We are working with the club to try and get NCL set up in bay 1. We would like to make that our permanent home and that bay gives us the option to expand.

Are we anti squadron?
This question has been asked a lot.
There is a stigma out there that we are against what the squadron is doing and has done in the past.

This is not the case.
As mentioned a lot of us spent a number of years in the squadron and the founders of NCL were amongst the group that started the squadron back on the hill all those years ago.
We appreciate what the squadron has done for active support in Newcastle and have respect for the people involved however we do feel that in the last few years there has been a lot of negativity towards the squadron.
We feel that because of this negativity and some of the choices the squadron have made that they will never be able to recover.
So saying that we feel the squadrons time is up and it's is time for change.

Do we plan on taking over active support for the Newcastle Jets?

I think yesterday spoke for itself. After 15 minutes our numbers had doubled and the squadron has practically emptied out.
The players ran over to us after both goals and the eastern stand joined in with our chants.
We want to build the NCL to be as big as possible if that means we take over than so be it.
If the squadron wish to step a side we are happy to discuss this with them. However it will be on our terms as we refuse to be caged animals.

Can anyone join in?
Yes we are open for anyone to join in. We would like to send a special invitation to any old squadron, kamakazie, southern hill wingman and bay 1 hooligans lads to come join us. We know a lot of you dropped off due to the way things were going. But if you would like to come join us we know this is something you will enjoy.
