after watching The Defiant Ones, it made me really wish Skinny Puppy had signed with Interscope Records in 1993 at the time of The Process album when they had offered. Rick Rubin and American recordings definetly DID NOT have the hands off approach when working with a band. Thus the demise.
When I heard Jimmy Iovine speak about leaving the band to produce its vision it really hit home.
Tom Whalley was who originally signed us to Capitol records and he is the one who helped create that reality for 9 years, we should have followed him to Interscope ! cheers .. !
