Gov. Douglas Cagas shared with PIA-XI Regional Head Frances Mae Macapagat his plan for a huge repair of the swimming pool area at the Davao del Sur Sports Complex in Digos City. During yesterday's courtesy call, Cagas lamented that the Olympic-sized swimming pool was severely damaged before he assumed office as governor in 2016.

The sports complex, which also consists of a coliseum and a rubberized track, was a flagship project of the governor in 2009. He said he wanted to rehabilitate the swimming pool to pursue his aspiration of making the sports complex a training center for the athletes in the region.
