Dear friends; many of you have been asking about Halo Circus and wondering where we’ve been.
It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the end of all things Halo Circus. It feels weird to announce this on FB but you all deserve to know.
A huge thank you to all members and people that played an integral part in the band.
If it weren’t for you we wouldn’t have been able to express our sound, ideas and message.
As you know, Matthew and I did our best to keep our personal life separate from the business. As we continued to make music and share our little band with you, the relationship felt more and more like a family. Over the past year Matthew and I have parted ways both professionally and personally.
We are deeply grateful that you all supported us. You helped our band do things we never thought we could, especially in this time of music industry chaos.
We want to thank you for having our back, for going to shows, for getting us on the road, for feeding us, paying for gas and for the overall hospitality.
They say the human cells regenerate every 7 years. I feel we hit that mark with the band and all things surrounding it. The time, sweat, success and tears brought so many lessons that I will forever be grateful for. People all over the country who supported us could have just seen us as another start up band that just wanted to be “famous,” but instead saw the true intention of what we were trying to do. We wanted to start conversations and make music that related to the unspoken frustrations of our daily lives. It was definitely a heavy ship to steer in a very rough sea. It was the hardest and most life changing time of my life. I hope for rebirth and success for all who were involved and for everyone to know their love and support was never taken for granted.
