Renmark High School has renamed one of its buildings after former student, Chief of Army, Lieutenant General Rick Burr.

Rick and I were classmates together in Renmark and we have since crossed paths several times, including on the Kokoda Track on Anzac Day in 2019 and as recently as last month in Canberra.

I believe regional Australians should have the same opportunities as their city cousins and the Lieutenant General is testament that Riverland kids should strive to reach t...heir goals.
