Sauk Village welcomed Len McEnery’s 13th and largest Gas N Wash development thus far, Pops Italian Roast Beef, Little Mexico, Dunkin Donuts as well as Beggar’s ...Pizza today.
This morning we cut the ribbon and were joined by Cook County Commissioner Donna Miller, Cook County Department of Transportation Superintendent John Yonan, Mayor of Lynwood Gene Williams amd representatives of Congresswoman Robin Kelly’s office along with a host of other local officials and residents.
I want to thank our former Economic Development Director Joseph Wiszowaty for overseeing this $13 million project, the largest Commercial Development in Sauk Village since Walgreens in 1999.
Thank you to Trustee Rodrick Grant and former Trustees Beth Zupon, Cecial Tates and Ronald Carter for supporting this project all of which were on hand this morning. This development will generate about $500,000 annually for Sauk Village!
