Today is an important day in history, as it marks the City of Evansville’s 203rd birthday. Let’s recognize this day by celebrating one of our great strengths --- our open and welcoming nature.

In Indianapolis this week, the so-called “Religious Freedom Restoration Act” was signed into law.

I’m concerned that this new law sends the wrong message about our state, a message that contradicts what I know to be true about the citizens of Evansville. I see a city of mutual resp...ect and inclusion. I see a city with a proud record of attracting diverse businesses and visitors.
