June 23rd, 1909: Katherine Henderson was born in St. Louis, Missouri. She was the niece of blues singer, Eva Taylor and music producer, Clarence Williams. During the 1920's she made about a dozen recordings; however, she continued performing on into the 1940's. She eventually left the music business in the late 1940's.
