Quick update on HOW TO KEEP YOUR MARRIAGE FROM SUCKING despite my recent cancer (positive as a cancer diagnosis can be but after 3 rounds of chemo I'm already feel pretty grand)

1) The book is little behind schedule though clearly we've added a new chapter.

2) This monster of disease no matter what form it comes in knocks your train off the tracks and suddenly it falls on your partner to drive their train while fixing yours. It is the very definition of sickness and in heal...th. I would imagine most people with cancer end up having so much empathy, at least I did, that they practically want to tell the other person to leave. Get away from all this ugliness! It seemed a shame to put Amiira though all this when it "felt" like she got nothing back in return except the physically worst version of me. Now I put quotes around "felt" because I have no idea what it feels like for Her. And it made me realize people in relationships have to stop deciding what it "feels" like for other people. There's no need to what I's watch Amiira go through. And it's a shame it took cancer to empathize with Amiira's struggle dealing with a narcissist clown who, while lovable and well meaning wasn't able to see the whole painting . So get the book to find out how to learn these lessons before cancer. You aren't going to get cancer your generation didn't drink Diet Coke while sitting next to the Microwave waiting for the bacon to cook!
