We remember cellist Lynn Harrell, who made his Carnegie Hall debut in 1961 as part of a New York Philharmonic Young People’s Concert at the age of 17.

He went on to perform more than 30 times at the hall, including his most recent appearance on Opening Night of 2019 with The Cleveland Orchestra and frequent collaborators Anne-Sophie Mutter, and Yefim Bronfman.
