Ambassador Bjørn Staurset Jahnsen presented his credentials as the Kingdom of Norway’s first Ambassador to the Republic of Palau.

Ambassador Jahnsen shared interesting conversations with President Tommy Remengesau, Jr and Minister of State Faustina Rehuher-Marugg on climate change and Norway and Palau's common quest for thriving and healthy oceans

Norway and Palau are co-operating closely on the Our Oceans conference in Oslo in October 2019, and then in Palau in 2020. Ambassador Jahnsen was also able to explore the amazing diving in pristine Palau 🇵🇼, enjoying the sights of sharks and other creatures in the Blue Hole and the Blue Corner.
