[OFFICIAL NUSSU ADJUDICATION COMMITTEE RECRUITMENT]
Interested in student governance? Want to know what it's like to be a judge? Join us as part of the adjudication committee!
The adjudication committee is a student committee that oversees disputes in NUS. As part of the adjudication committee, you will be part of making decisions that will affect the way NUSSU and its constituent clubs are run. This is on an ad-hoc basis, dependent on the disputes we recieve.
... Some roles of the adjudication committee include:
interpretation of the NUSSU Constitution; and
hearing of appeals from disciplinary actions pursuant to the Discipline Regulations.
You can view some of the previous decisions here: http://www.nussu.org/union…/adjudication-committee-decisions. An example of a dispute that was decided by the adjudication committee is whether Yale-NUS students are part of NUSSU.
If you are interested in joining the adjudication committee, email your curriculum vitae, which should include your mobile number; faculty; and year of study, to [email protected]. Email subject: [AC2018] <Full Name>, and your availability for this Sunday, 28 October 2018.
Application is open to all NUS undergraduates. Application deadline: 26 October 2018.
