The Le Patourel Blue Plaque was unveiled this morning by the Bailiff, Sir Richard Collas and Babatte Le Patourel, Wallace's wife.
Over 40 people attended the ceremony, including 4 generations of the Le Patourel family who travelled to Guernsey from the UK.
The plaque has been placed on Villa Magnol in the Fosse Andre by the kind permission of Jill and Jeremy Bishop.
