Roland Bautista (5/30/51-2/29/12) Today we remember a soul gone too soon. Roland Bautista was a resident of Hemet, CA for 16 years before passing. He became ill and within a matter of weeks the Lord decided it was time for him to return home. Roland grew up in the city of Los Angeles, CA. He fell in love with playing the guitar at a young age and even played under age at some of the hottest clubs in Hollywood. In the early 70's he joined Earth Wind & Fire and toured all aroun...d the world. Roland had many career accomplishments including the release of two solo albums and also had the opportunity to work with The Ronnie Laws Band, The Crusaders, Michael Jackson, Willie Bobo and many others. Roland moved to Hemet, CA in the late nineties to be with his family. He became close with family and friends and was a big influence in all of our lives. He enjoyed each day doing what he loved which was Golf and teaching children the art of playing the Guitar. Today we remember our angel who is watching over us. Roland your amazing laugh and joyous spirit is forever etched in our hearts. Even though you are gone, your music lives on... PLAY IT LOUD up there in Heaven. Earth, Wind & Fire
