for those that know - i used to run a 21+ drum and bass weekly in philadelphia from 1998 - 2004 called PLATINUM. it was somewhat legendary. some of my favorite memories of djing are from that night. recently i found out that the club i used to throw the event at, FLUID, is closing down. most of the people that had nights are FLUID are now throwing one last show as a send off for the club. on MARCH 27 we are doing one final PLATINUM night to say goodbye. it is going to be fucking insanity. almost every resident dj we had is going to be there (myself, mason, karl k, sine, kaos, method one) and all of your resident mcs (messinian, armanni, sharpness, illy). if you love drum and bass, you absolutely do not want to miss this show. our "final" show from 2004 is legend. be a part of this one -
