Is there only one sign language used all over the world? NOPE! Sign language varies from country to country.

However, Deaf people from different countries can communicate with each other using something called International Sign! It's important to note that International Sign consists of gestures and visuals, but it is NOT a language as it is not as conventionalised or complex as natural sign languages.
