The base camp experience will be centred in Malahide Castle. Fingal County Council has kindly allowed us to use this facility and have supported us in the development of programme elements in and around the Fingal area.

Malahide Castle provides the perfect venue for such an international event, close to excellent local facilities, transport hubs and only a short trip to Dublin city.

During the base camp event participants will explore many global issues including the UN Sustainable Development Goals with include – climate change, diversity, sustainable communities, clean water, life on earth and sea.

Participants will also be formed into international teams of 10 people, and will travel around Ireland - so loads of time to get to know and understand multi cultures, diversity, and having a good time in the Irish countryside.
