A well known person in the aquarium hobby Heiko Bleher has used few of my Fish pictures in his latest book on Indian Ornamental Fishes. The pictures have been stolen from my blog page Fishplore.com, without my knowledge and without my permission. He hasn't mentioned any picture credit to my name or the source page either. Over and above this, he has cleverly cropped out watermark from the pics, so that he can use the pictures, as if they were owned by him. And the best part, ...he mentions in the book preface that each and every part and picture in the book is his copyright!
If he has the audacity to steal my pictures and claim his copyright on them, I take the liberty to take him to the court and ensure the law does penalise him to the highest possible extant. I could have forgiven if the theft was in the name of a free article. But this is rather used for his commercial benefit in one of the most expensive aquarium books. I have all the evidence in this regard and I'm in no mood to forgive this person.
I would have been more than happy to contribute the pictures free of cost, if he had the courtesy to ask. But he instead chose a wrong way and I'll ensure he pays a very heavy price for his deed. If anyone in my friends list has something good to suggest or help me with my case, please feel free to send me a private message. Together we shall fight plagiarism!
I give one chance to Heiko Bleher to comment in this regard, if he has something to say in his defence.
Attaching my pics which were used in his book.
Please share this in your Fish groups, so that everyone is aware of this and help me fight the case.
