OSP 2021 is cancelled due to fire danger!

The OSP committee was so proud of the work we put in to make OSP 2021 a GO. Many other national star parties cancelled 2021 for COVID. We got hit with our old nemesis ... FIRE. We were notified by the senior ranger of the Paulina District (Prineville office of the US Forest Service) they have cancelled our 2021 permit due to fire safety reasons.

In light of the current fire danger, we implore that no one goes to Indian Trail Spring... this year. Many people go early or stay late outside of the star party dates.
The OSP committee want to emphasize that the Rangers feel and say IT IS NOT SAFE.
