On the evening of Sunday, January 5, 2020, Upper Gwynedd officers responded to a domestic disturbance call. Upon entering the residence and attempting to speak to the parties involved, officers came in contact with Michael Rossi. Rossi refused to cooperate with the officers and became increasingly hostile and aggressive towards them, leading him to physically assault both Upper Gwynedd officers. Rossi was immediately taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, harassment, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. On 1/6/2020, he was arraigned and bail was set at $25,000 cash. He has since been remanded to Montgomery County Correctional Facility where he will await his hearing.

Thankfully, the officers involved in this incident only sustained minor injuries and are recovering quickly.
