On February 8th & 9th the Acadia student body will vote yes or no for the Axe Lounge and Accessibility referendum. The Axe Lounge Renovation will aim to become the new and centrally located student hub. Thus transitioning into a study friendly location where students can meet, eat, and relax. The new Axe Lounge will be open to all ages during the day, while shifting to 19+ after hours. After a lengthy planning period of research and focus groups, the ASU has teamed up with Harvey Architecture and have completed the proposed design plan. For $15 a semester we can create a legacy; a bar that will surpass the current standing Axe and local food and beverage establishments. On February 8th & 9th, cast your vote for the opportunity to create a new a multi-purpose student lounge. Students graduating in April will not incur this fee.
