2018 - 2020 Jacob Ziskind Poet-in-Residence: Chen Chen! We are excited to welcome Chen Chen to Brandeis in the fall of 2018. We are so very grateful to Rebecca Morgan Frank for all the time, attention, care, and talent she brought to the position for the past two years, and we will miss her presence in the Brandeis community. Chen will be teaching the Intro to Creative Writing class this coming fall and a Creative Nonfiction and Poetry workshop in the spring of 2019. We h...ope you'll join us in welcoming Chen Chen in the fall, and we'll be having him offer a reading of his work so that you can better get to know his singular, powerful voice.
Chen Chen is the author of When I Grow Up I Want to Be a List of Further Possibilities (BOA Editions, 2017), which won the A. Poulin, Jr. Poetry Prize, the GLCA New Writers Award, and was longlisted for the National Book Award for Poetry.
