Haval First Love is a car
Great Wall Motors was probably the most impressive car maker on the 2020 Beijing Auto Show, unveiling all kinds of exciting new cars for their many brands. But their car names are a bit odd at times.
Take this machine for example. It is a fine compact crossover with a wild set of lights. It is called the Hafu Chulian, which translates to Haval First Love. The car stood on stage with a little red ❤️on its license plate area. Poor car.
... The Haval First Love is the successor of the Haval h2, which wasn't a very good name either. The First Love is the entry-level SUV of the Haval brand, and that is where they got the name from. First-Haval- to-fall-in-love with, like that.
I am a bit surprised they didn't paint it pink or red. Blue doesn't really match the name. It also should have some heart-shaped badges and such.
Design is nice, i really like the rear-fender area. The rear light may be a little big. But love blinds, does it not? The interior comes with a digital dash and a mid-sized touch screen. Power comes from a 1.5 turbo with 156 hp.
The Haval First Love will launch on the Chinese car market in November. Got to love it. Got to. Yeah.
