Hi FB family...I am Walter Rinder and I just turned 78 years old. As an author, several years ago my publisher stopped printing my work as poetry lost attention. As this was my source of income, it landed me in financial woes. My handicap friend Dave and I have dug into dumpsters, trash cans, river boat ramps, rest stops, bags of cans and bottles from friends as well as strangers. We have been challen...ged by all weather. Snow, rain, heat, cold and hail. Collecting 5 cent cans and bottles at the same time contributing to a healthier earth. Currently we have saved $7600.00 during a 4 year period. One nickle at a time. I have been Davids caretaker for 12 years. He has no family, and there is no one to help us. It is he and I against the world. I would love to give David a chance when I leave this earth to be secure and not be a ward of the state. I can do this by getting a mobile home all set up for us. It is my dream. When David was born, the embiblical cord was wrapped around his neck for 35 seconds blocking passages to his brain. He is child like and lives with his heart. Innocent to many of lifes situations.
