My friend , the photographer Paul Blanca .. once we promised to make a portrait of each other every year or so .. the last portrait I did of Paul was when I was in the hospital with TBC .. Paul came with his camera and I used the hospital as my studio .. he was wearing a kilt and carrying a six pack of cheap beer .. he just came from an AA meeting and told me he wasn’t drinking alcohol anymore while opening a can of beer .. Paul indeed was a man of contradictions.. he Rest In Peace and I am sure we will meet again .. farewell Paul .. I will miss you .
