This joint project between Brightline and the Florida East Coast Railway is double tracking an additional 3.5 miles of the FEC's mainline between where Brightline's project ends and the FEC short stretch of existing double track around Port Saint John and Titusville begins. I then provide an update on the Cocoa Tunnel where the site is being prepared for the track. An aerial look at the right of way in this area is also provided. Next, I check out several crossings in Cocoa and Rockledge. While there is not much progress visible now, this area will be getting very busy in the coming months. At Rosa L Jones Drive, I also provide a look at the FEC's former Cocoa-Rockledge Station and the yard next to it. In Rockledge, I provide a short chronicle of the rebuilding of the Eyster Blvd crossing, including the first drive across the crossing once it was reopened. The staging yard that crews are using to load ballast trains and store equipment is up next. I provide a look at the equipment and materials stored around the facility and the nearby right of way.
