The concert finale music selection will include all five organists—through the magic of modern technology—performing Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto no. 3, mvt. 3 (Allegro) together using the same organ! The stream will also feature behind-the-scenes views and explanations of Temple Square organs and rehearsal spaces by the organists. The new organ concert series, Piping Up: Organ Concerts at Temple Square, will stream at 12:00 p.m. MT on Wednesdays. Each concert will feature a different Tabernacle or Temple Square organist. Noon organ recitals have been a tradition on Temple Square for more than a century. The current pandemic has halted this tradition temporarily, but now via the internet the noon organ recitals will resume without an audience but with full COVID-compliant precautions.
