ott and Conlon Nancarrow, Danʼs music strives to take contemporary experimental composition and electronic music out of the circle of the esoteric intellectual gangs and hipster communities, placing it into the more informal "fun time." His high-energy performances consist of song-structured material performed with Casio keyboard, computer, vocoder and many whosits and whatsits to process his voice and signal generator. He is currently working with Oscar-winning director Francis Ford Coppola on the score for his new film, "Twixt Now and Sunrise."

TEDxBaltimore's lead organizer, Mel is formerly a Visiting Lecturer in the Department of Kinesiology at Towson University (MD, USA) and is currently District Executive Center Director for Baltimore City with the Y of Central Maryland. A graduate of McDaniel College, Mel's doctoral work took place at the University of Stirling, Scotland UK, with a focus on human kinetics, human rights and Olympiads.
