Recorded sometime in 1987 on Channel 54 which was a Baltimore UHF channel that started out as a SuperTV channel and then became a prime time UHF independant station then a UPN network during the 90's

and now is the Baltimore CW network. Back in the day they used to show all manner of great cartoons and movies. They also had a community news board and a pet of the day spot that aired between commercials where local pet owners could let their pet be taped for a few seconds of on air broadcast fame. These were indeed the good old days back when Cable TV was not ubiquitous and malls were still popular hang outs. BTW this was also recorded on a 1 head VCR on pre-Comcast cable, so I am amazed the video has held up so well for so long.
The Pet Of The Day was a staple of WNUV allowing local pet owners a chance to showcase their lovely pooch or kitty (I think someone did a goldfish and a parrot once) for thirty seconds or so on tv. Good times.
