On Monday Ford announced that it was recalling around 4500 1.6 litre Ford Kuga's after admitting that a defect had led to overheating which had led to at least 39 cases of fires that were reported to the company. But it claimed that Reshall's death was unrelated and noone had been injured in the related incidents.
