he previous seven days. Pink Floyd had come to prominence on London's underground club scene, attracting attention for their unique psychedelic, improv-heavy sound and hallucinogenic light shows. At the time of the interview the band had performed the first-ever surround sound concert at “Games for May,” a lavish affair at London’s Queen Elizabeth Hall where they performed material from their soon-to-be released debut album – The Piper at the Gates of Dawn.
