the SP conducted management training on the embargoed SP rail line over Altamont Pass. The union train crews called these the scab trains. It was SP's last use of this famous line. In this Track Warrants Video you can see some of this action including a passing UP train with a DD40X
UPDATE: I never meant for this film to be a forum pro or anti unions. The song was picked because I thought it was funny and since the trains were used to prepare management crews in case there was a strike, it seemed appropriate. I urge all people without a sense of humor to turn the volume off. It is a silent movie!
