Nittmo himself went as a 16-year old exchange student and became the first Swede to ever play a full season in the National Football League. Playing for the New York Giants, David Letterman had him on his show several times and even coined a new catchphrase to celebrate him: “Who do you think you are, Bjorn Nittmo?”.
Before retiring in 2005, Bjorn represented several great football teams but one of his proudest accomplishments was a role in Oliver Stone’s football blockbuster Any Given Sunday.
