Wide, the two leaders and their wives along at Medvedev's residence. The dinner followed three hours of talks that resulted in the signing of eight separate agreements. As well as making a preliminary deal on cutting nuclear stockpiles, the two sides reached an agreement allowing the US military a degree of access to Afghanistan via Russia. They also pledged greater cooperation in health issues. The fruits of the talks were revealed during a joint media conference at the Kremlin. On Tuesday the US leader was scheduled to have breakfast with Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin before addressing graduates at Moscow's New Economic School. Later he'll meet with opposition groups and hold talks with former Soviet president Mikhail Gorbachev. Ahead of his visit, President Obama gave an interview to Russian newspaper "Novaya Gazeta". This is Obama's first visit to Russia since becoming US President.
