d 6 Nations match in March 2014.
On the way to the game, we stopped off at Mike Rayer's testimonial dinner at Cardiff Arms Park to speak to him about his thoughts on the current state of Welsh rugby and the game at the grassroots level, seen from across the border in Bedford Blues where he is currently Director of Rugby.
At Amman United, organisers Gavin Lewis and Craig Parslow explain how the match came about and we also talk to members of local ladies rugby team Penybanc Panthers about their season so far and the women's game in general. During the game we talk to Gareth Elward, one of a number of beneficiaries of the monies collected. After the final whistle Shane Williams talks about the game itself and gives his take on the lower echelons of Welsh rugby, and we finish by speaking to Warriors coach Kevin Wyness about the importance of the whole event to the players and the wider community.
Presented by Gareth Spencer, filmed and edited by Jobe Bruzas of Dischro Creative. Links filmed at Abercarn RFC.
