Japan has been hit with a massive 8.9-magnitude earthquake, one of the strongest ever recorded. Louis Carlet of the Tokyo General Union Talks About Earthquake and Tsunami in Japan.

The quake triggered a 10-meter-high tsunami along Japan's northern coastline. Police and local officials report several hundred people were initially killed, but the death toll is expected to rise significantly.
