THE BLURB:
In the far
...
back reaches of 2010, Shakespearean scholarship was shaken to the roots by the discovery in quarto of a hitherto lost and utterly unknown Shakespearean play, King Phycus. Under the deft, astute, incisive and slightly titillating eye of Tom Willmorth, this historical-pastoral-tragical comedy has been edited, adapted, rudely slapped and lightly caressed into a script that we at the A2 Ensemble could not resist. We few, we happy few, we band of six actors who weren't doing anything better at the time, breathe life into these recently resurrected words of the Immortal Bard for your enjoyment and edification. Come one, come all -- and cursed be he that leaves before the current call!
Director John Apicella, Patrick Wenk-Wolff (Player One), Buck Zachary (Player Two) & Abby Wilde (Player Five)
