the 19th GAWAD CCP Documentary Film Festival. It was also voted as one of the 20 Best Documentaries in GAWAD's history.
Produced and directed by Butch Nolasco and co-written with Ivi Avellana-Cosio, daughter of Lamberto, and a celebrated artist in her own right.
The video also includes insightful interviews with National Artist Bienvenido Lumbera; Cultural historian Nicanor Tiongsion; film historian/filmmaker Nick DeOcampo; and Naty Crame-Rogers, former cast member who played the role of "Paula."
The documentary is a perfect introduction to the movie which has been digitally restored and scheduled for screening at the CCP on April 25, 2015, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the film's initial release.
