Dubai, UAE Salary Revisions due to Cancelled Projects - The 2015 Trend Continues
As Dubai Expo 2020 dawns closer to reality, the big question is how is Dubai, UAE's job market doing? How is the money
...
market doing? Are people being offered better salaries than before or has the salary scale and remuneration changed? In my personal opinion, there has been a trend that started off in 2015 and it has continued ever since - and that is the number of projects (building & cities) which were promised to be completed and handed over has now not just been cancelled but many of them are being asked by the Dubai Government to refund the investors.
Now - for a normal person living in Dubai, UAE - this may not matter much as not many people can afford to purchase expensive houses that sell off in millions. However, the companies involved in the manufacturing process, the construction industry, the suppliers, the vendors, the electric, the plumbing & the contracting companies suffer immensely. And the only way out of this slump is to cut down costs, cut down overheads and most importantly - cut down on existing staffs and their salaries.
In this video I address the challenges the Dubai, Market is facing with Salary Expectations.
