n 1983
Due to the popularity of the compilation of the Eurovision covers made by the biggest Yugoslav label Jugoton the year before, and even more to the fact that the Yugoslav entry came back with a big success from Munich, which increased a lot the radio play of the contest songs, they decided to do it again and released "Evrovizijske melodije 2" which included 14 songs from ESC 1983 sung in Croatian by some popular and some rising stars of the Yugoslav pop scene.
"Per Lucia", originally sung by Riccardo Fogli for Italy at ESC 1983, was recorded by
Oto Pestner, one of the most prominent singers and composers of popular music from Slovenia. He was the leader of vocal group "New Swing Quartet" till 2008. He won on the festival "Slovenska popevka" with the song "Trideset let" in 1971 and six years later with "Vrača se pomlad". He was also a member of few other groups, most notable "Pepel in kri" (Blood and Ashes) with whom he sang "Dan ljubezni" at Eurovision Song Contest 1975.
