enemy of the people, but the expression of our collective will, and that we must participate in the democratic process in order to address the challenges that we face as Americans. As voters and grassroots volunteers, we will support leaders who work toward positive solutions, and hold accountable those who obstruct them.
That's our mission statement, as it stands right now. This video is a more extemporaneous statement of purpose for the Coffee Party.
We filmed this pn Feb. 10, 2010, outside of Salon Rouge in Dupont Circle while waiting for Salim Michel to finish up with a client. Moments later we shot Salim's video.

Also, we realize there are "Coffee Party" groups popping up all over the country, many of them independently and many of them a bit ahead of us in choosing the coffee theme. I hope we can all work together toward common goals. We are planning a convention this summer and all are welcome.
