, for which the University of Utah is the lead institution. Dr. Titze holds Adjunct Professor appointments in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery and in Medical Chemistry. The award was presented in Philadelphia on November 19, 2010.
As an expert in Voice and Speech, Dr. Titze is being presented with this award due to his tireless efforts in voice habilitation, public education, and is considered one of the world's leading voice scientists. The Honors of the Association recognizes members for their distinguished contributions to the discipline of communication sciences and disorders and is the highest honor the Association bestows.
The National Center for Voice and Speech is a multi-site research and teaching organization dedicated to studying the characteristics, limitations and enhancements of human voice and speech.
