unified world heavyweight title, in 2010. In May 2007, Chambers stopped 15–0 Derric Rossy and defeated Dominic Guinn on Shobox. Later in 2007 he took part in IBF's 4-man elimination tournament to face the current champion Wladimir Klitschko. Chambers beat Calvin Brock via split decision in semifinals, but lost unanimously to Alexander Povetkin in the final bout.
